Counter Representations on draft Plan Strategy open until 1st September

The council continues to operate its Local Development Plan function remotely processing the counter representations received in relation to the draft Plan Strategy.    

It was previously advised that the period for submission of counter representations would be extended until the council was able to allow public inspection of representations at the council offices.  

The council can now advise that anyone seeking to inspect the submitted representations to the draft Plan Strategy can make an appointment to do so during normal working hours (9am-5pm) at the Civic Headquarters, Lagan Valley Island.  Please note all representations to the draft Plan Strategy remain available to view on the council’s website.

The formal closing date for any submission of a counter representation to the draft Plan Strategy will now be extended to 5pm on Tuesday, 1 September 2020. The closing date takes account of the period when the Civic Headquarters was closed as a result of the COVID 19 emergency, prior to the original closing date for receipt of counter representations.
