Watch Rio 2016 Olympic Games LIVE from Market Square

The countdown to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is well and truly on and fans in Lisburn won't have to miss out as the action will be screened live from Market Square on Thursday 18th August from 12pm until 6pm.

The showing is FREE and will give spectators the chance to take part in interactive Olympic Sports such as hurdles and long jump.

Councillor Uel Mackin, Chair of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Development Committee says, “Market Square is a great venue, accessible to all parts of the city, and beyond. By locating the TV screen here, as we did when showing Wimbledon, the Council is ensuring fans have the opportunity to support their home team whilst enjoying the free activities on offer.’
