Step Into A Window Wonderland - 14th & 15th December

Share the Magic of the Season at Lisburn Light Festival as you step into a ‘window wonderland’ on 14th and 15th December. 

Shop fronts will come alive with magical mime performances, from Fusion Theatre; an award-winning theatre group based in Lisburn, bringing an extra special treat to shoppers and visitors to the City.  

There will be four magical live performances each evening with every window telling a different story; Santa’s workshop, the Nativity, Snowmen and the Nutcracker. It is sure to be an enchanting experience for all ages so come along and track down the live windows in Bow Street Mall, Lisburn Square, Market Square and Castle Street to see the stories unfold. 

Alderman William Leathem, Chairman of the Council’s Development Committee commented: “The Council is delighted to bring this special event to the City Centre as part of Lisburn Light Festival.  You may have already noticed some of the beautifully Christmas themed shop windows throughout Lisburn City Centre as many shop owners have fully embraced the festive season.  We have worked hard to illuminate our streets with the light festival and offer a packed programme of activities.  I am looking forward to seeing the live window performances and hope that you will come along and enjoy them too.”

Follow the Magical Window Trail through Lisburn City Centre on 14th December from 5.30pm - 7.30pm and Saturday 15th December from 4.00pm-6.00pm.
