Statement of sympathy from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council

The Mayor, Councillor Uel Mackin, has expressed his sympathy and that of the Council on the death of Fabrice Miguet who was critically injured during the Superstock Race at this year’s Ulster Grand Prix.

He said: “We are extremely saddened at the news that Fabrice has passed away.  Fabrice was well known to the local motorcycle road racing community in Northern Ireland, having competed here at the Ulster Grand Prix over a number of years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Fabrice's family and friends at this very difficult time.  We send our deepest sympathies to the Miguet family and his Optimark team as they come to terms with their loss.”
