Information on event arrangements for car parking/first aid as provided by the NI Veterans Association for the Commemorative Event and Parade in Wallace Park, Lisburn on Saturday 17th August 2019.
Wallace School Coach Park |
A free shuttle bus service will operate to and from the school and park which is also a 5 minute walk away. Toilet facilities are in the Park. |
Friends School Car Park | This car park is 3 minutes walk to Wallace Park. |
Lisburn Masonic Car Park | This Belsize Road car park is open for Coaches and Disabled Parking. There will be a shuttle bus service to and from Wallace Park. Refreshments and toilet faclities are available here. |
Seymour Street Methodist Church | This car park is at the top of Low Road and is open for the use of visitors. This car park is a 3 minute walk to Wallace Park. |
Disabled Viewing Area | This area is next to the UDR Statue in the City Centre and next to the Static Display area. It is wheelchair accessible and will have limited seating. Toilet facilities are available at this location. |
First Lisburn Presbyterian Church | The Church will be open for the display of the Op Banner Roll of Honour which will be shown throughout the day on large screens in the hall and a number of ROH Books will be on view. Part of the car park will have a static display of Miltary Vehicles. This car park is not open to visitors. There are toilet faciltiies and refreshments here. |
First Aid / Assistance | A central Control point will be set up outside the front entrance to the Operation Banner Museum Exhibition. This will be manned all day. If you require any medical aid, have lost a child or require police assistance please go directly to this point. First Aiders will be at various locations within Wallace park and on the parade route. |
