Off Street Car Parking Charges Update

Alderman James Baird, Environmental Services Committee Chairman would like to advise that it has been agreed by the council that for the foreseeable future it will not be charging to use its off street car parks.

We would ask that those using our car parks are responsible at all times and only occupy one parking space for the necessary amount of time. This will ensure that as many people as possible can access essential services such as pharmacies, grocery stores and GP surgeries (by appointment only).

We would remind those using our car parks to follow the social distancing guidance and walk 2 metres away from other car park users. Thank you very much for your assistance and we will advise of any changes to this decision in a timely manner.
