Jonzara marks one year of business in Lisburn city centre and there’s lots to celebrate!

This weekend marks one year since Jonzara opened its doors at 20 Bow Street and this stylish ladies fashion store has plenty to shout about. Since opening the business has made quite an impression in the City Centre by introducing labels unique to Jonzara and offering the most discerning customer a brilliant fashion experience.
Joining Jonzara to celebrate their first anniversary in the City was Alderman Allan Ewart, Chairman of the Development Committee at Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council. He commented: “I would like to congratulate Jonzara for a successful first year in business, Lisburn has a long and proud history of family run businesses trading in the City Centre and like many others Jonzara brings a uniqueness to the independent retail offering. We wish the company every success and may it continue to build upon these accomplishments.”
Jonzara is a family affair, it is owned by the McCann family and is managed by Sarah McCann who has recently been shortlisted in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Business Awards for the Rising Star - Young Entrepreneur Award.
Sarah has overseen the transformation of the large retail space on Bow Street into the magnificent fashion store we see today. She commented, “Opening the Lisburn store was an ambition of ours and when we found this space we knew it was for us, we aim to present a bright, spacious fashion store that invites people to come in to be inspired by our beautiful collection of designer labels. From Betty Barclay and Taifun to our latest acquisition MASAi Clothing, we want to be sure that Jonzara offers our customers a great selection of high quality clothing.”
When asked about her first year of trading in the City Sarah said; “It has been an extremely busy year for me and the Jonzara team. I have been very lucky to employ a great team who have learnt fast and understand the Jonzara ethos of making every customer’s experience a memorable one. I was delighted to host the UK Small Business 100 bus tour in May last year and I have enjoyed getting involved in some of the Council led initiatives that have helped to promote retailers in the city. I hope that we will continue to grow our customer base over the next year and continue to bring our customers gorgeous labels that never compromise on quality and style."
