Idox Takeover of Lisburn based Tascomi

By mid-August Hillsborough based Software Company, Tascomi Ltd, will be acquired in a £7.125 million deal by Idox Plc, creating a sound strategic fit for both companies.
As a leading provider in services and solutions Idox Plc knows that Tascomi will strengthen its current position in the public sector, engineering, information management and content markets.
Tascomi has 13 years’ experience creating and providing industry-leading, web-based software solutions to Local Authorities and Government departments throughout the UK and Ireland. Its innovative portfolio of solutions include planning, building control, land charges, environmental health, trading standards and licensing.
This acquisition will assist Idox and Tascomi to establish reliable business models to drive great value from the assets they already have in their business.
Speaking about the takeover, Chairman of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart MBE commented: “Tascomi’s forward thinking attitude and ambition to grow is evident by the news of this planned acquisition.
