Funding available for small and micro businesses!

Following the announcement from Invest Northern Ireland that it has secured funding for the small and micro business community, Chair of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Development Committee, Ald Amanda Grehan, urges these businesses to apply.
She said: “I’m delighted with the news and welcome this new funding to support small and micro-businesses in their recovery from the pandemic. This Economic Recovery Innovation Grant (ERIG) will help our business community to develop innovative projects that will allow them to respond to future economic shocks and changing market conditions with confidence and agility.”
With up to £5,000 of grant funding available for each businesses, the first thing you need to do is to check your eligibility here. If you are eligible, you must then submit an Innovation Assessment and complete the ERIG application form. Applications close at 5pm on Monday 31 January 2022 and successful applicants must accept their Letter of Offer and draw down their funding before 31 March 2022.
