Find your dream job at local job fair!

Are you looking for a new job or do you want to progress in your career? Then come along to our local job fair on Thursday 24th November at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn!

The event will take place from 10am to 3pm, hosting many local employers with job opportunities to suit all levels and abilities. Exhibitors include Translink, Coca-Cola, Henderson Group, Stepping Stones, Next, BT/EE and the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust to name a few.

Candidates and employers will have the opportunity to meet and connect with each other directly. Flexible space will be provided to allow businesses to provide demonstrations and interactive ways to showcase their employment offering.

The event hopes to help employers in the area recruit talented members of staff and fill job vacancies faster. Alderman Allan Ewart MBE, Chairman of LCCC’s Development Committee, said:

“I encourage local people to come along to the Lagan Valley Island and learn more about the many job opportunities that are available in our council area. This informal setting will allow candidates to get a better feel for the jobs they’re interested in and discover the culture of each organisation before going through the recruitment process.

“The aim of the event is to help people get into employment in positions where they will enjoy and thrive. It will be a great event and I urge local people to attend.”
