Dream Golfing Holiday Prize Winner announced

The Council is delighted to announce that the winner of the Mayor’s Charity Abu Dhabi Prize Draw is local lady Roberta Craig.

The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Brian Bloomfield, MBE, handed over the prize voucher which includes an amazing four nights’ accommodation, two return flights and three rounds of golf in the heart of the luxurious Middle East. 

Proceeds from the prize draw will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity, TinyLife. 

The previous Mayor, Councillor Thomas Beckett (who launched the competition); Lea Booth (Castlereagh Hills Golf Course); Roy Skillen (PGA Golf Professional); Lisa Hammond (Etihad Airways); Jonathan Millar (Bryan Somers Travel) and Kimberly Hill (TinyLife) were all present to congratulate Roberta.

The Mayor said: “I would firstly like to thank Bryan Somers Travel and Etihad Airways for sponsoring this spectacular prize; this is a golfer’s dream holiday. To everyone who bought tickets, your money will go directly to my chosen Charity TinyLife to help make a real difference to those families who need supported.  I am delighted that Roberta has won this prize and I am looking forward to hearing all about it when she returns.”
