DOE CHALLENGE FUND IS AVAILABLE FOR APPLICATIONS

The Council wishes to make local community groups and schools aware that applications can now be made to the 2015/16 Challenge Fund, administered by the Department of the Environment. The Challenge Fund is available to applications from community groups, and Nursery, Primary and secondary level schools.
Community Action projects which directly engage communities in improving their own environment may be eligible for up to £8000 grant aid. Environmental Education projects may be eligible for up to £4000 grant aid.
