Definitive Beauty and Hair opens with help of LCCC Urban Investment Fund

Definitive Beauty and Hair located on Railway Street, Lisburn is the latest business to open its doors following receipt of funding through the Councils Urban Investment Fund.

The new modern Hair Salon offers a range of high-quality beauty treatments such as Gel Nails, Pedicures, Facials, Massage and Hairstyling.

Sinead McKeever owner of Definitive Beauty and Hair said: “I am delighted to have recently opened my new salon here in Lisburn. 

“I have worked in many different salons, building my career and clientele over the years and finally I own my very own business and am doing what I love.

“I look forward to welcoming local people through my doors and to many years providing excellent services here. I have ambitious plans to grow my business adding more services to meet the needs of my wonderful clients.

“The people I meet in the course of my work make it so enjoyable and they are the reason I set up my business. I really value their support”

Alderman Amanda Grehan, Chair of LCCC’s Development Committee, added: “Definitive Beauty and Hair is a wonderful addition to our city centre. Sinead has worked really hard starting up her open salon and I have no doubt she will make it a great success.

“I am glad that Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has been able to support a local women to achieve her dreams. Sinead benefited from our Urban Investment Fund which offered grants from £7,500 to £25,000. We will continue to support the growth of our city centre and our local economy.”

This project was funded through the Department for Communities’ (DfC) Covid-19 Recovery Revitalisation Programme which was introduced to support towns and city centres in their recovery.
