Cyber Security Webinar Open for Registration
July 8, 2020
Building on our successful Digi-Growth webinars last month we are calling for early registrations to our upcoming Cyber Security webinar. The Digi-Growth Programme helps support Lisburn Castlereagh businesses during the current COVID-19 situation.
This project is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth & Jobs Northern Ireland (2014-2020) Programme.
The virtual Cyber Security webinar will take place on Wednesday 22nd July from 11am – 1pm. This ‘zoom’ webinar will cover a wide range of topics within cyber security including the legal landscape and technical security steps a business can take against any potential risks. We hope that participants will also engage in the Q&A session at the end of webinar.
Speaking about the upcoming webinar, Alderman Jim Dillon MBE, Chairman of the Development Committee said: “With support from Lisburn &Castlereagh City Council, there is an amazing opportunity for local businesses to review how secure their business is digitally. This extensive cyber security webinar delivered in association with the NI Cyber Security Centre and their range of experts and partners will give a strong insight into key areas that may need addressed.
“With the effects of COVID-19, understanding cyber security planning, implementation and best practices have never been more important. Many businesses have had to move some business functions to the digital world and as a result there are potential risks and challenges. By taking part in our upcoming webinar, local businesses will learn more about cyber security, current cyber threats and practical ways to keep their business protected online. This webinar is brought to you through the Digi-Growth Programme - where local companies can apply for bespoke digital support.”
