Cemeteries to reopen 25th April at 9am

The council welcomes the recent decision by the NI Executive to allow cemeteries to reopen.  We appreciate how much our residents have missed visiting loved ones at this time and we thank you for your patience. All Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council cemeteries will reopen at 9am on Saturday 25th April.  For those people visiting our cemeteries, we would remind you to maintain a social distance to keep each other safe. 

The public are reminded that the attendance at burials is limited to a maximum of 10 people at the graveside.  We would ask everyone to continue to respect this requirement.  We also ask those visiting loved ones to keep a social and respectful distance from any mourners attending a graveside committal and council staff preparing for a burial.
