Camco Secures Funding to Increase Its Edge

December 18, 2019

Local business Camco has consistently doubled its turnover since opening in 2015 and with its new £50,000 NI Small Business Loan it has moved to a larger premises.

Representatives from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council recently visited this business which stocks and distributes veneer edging, ABS edging and abrasives.

Alderman Allan Ewart MBE, Chairman of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Development Committee, speaking about the visit to this local business said: “The growth of Camco over four years is significant and it is well on its way to meet its target of a £1 million turnover by 2022.  It supplies a wide range of quality products manufactured in Europe to the construction industry for items such as doors, furniture and staircases.

“With its recent loan it intends to invest in cutting machinery that will allow it to cut edging to the requirements of its customers therefore increasing its high level of customer service.  I wish this Lisburn Castlereagh business every success in the future as it grows and develops in its new premises.”
