A glowing start for Elite Beauty and Tan

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council extended a warm welcome to Elite Beauty and Tan to Moira Village when they officially opened last week.

The owner of the new business Niki Grant set up her business after 18 years of teaching beauty at Belfast Met and following participation in the Go For It business start-up programme. Niki commented: “Setting up my own business has been my ambition for many years and now through the Go For It programme I have equipped myself with the necessary skills to run my own business.  I felt there was a demand for my services in the area and being centrally located in Moira opens up my customer base even further.” 

Speaking at the opening Chairman of the Council’s Development Committee, Alderman Leathem, said: “It gives me great pleasure to see another business opening up in the village of Moira. We are keen to support local businesses at every stage of their growth and I am delighted that Niki was able realise her dream of setting up her own business after many years of teaching Level 3 Beauty.”
