Water Refill Station installed at Lough Moss Leisure Centre

Today is World Refill Day, and we are celebrating the launch of another LCCC Water Refill Station, now located at Lough Moss Leisure Centre.

Councillor Andrew Ewing, Chairman of the council’s Environmental Services Committee, said: “We would like to encourage users to refill and hydrate at this new refill station, using reusable bottles to help litter, single-use plastics and waste in the council area.”

Councillor Sharon Skillen, Chair of the council’s Leisure & Community Development Committee, added: “Users of the outdoor facilities at Lough Moss can now hydrate for free while exercising outdoors. Users are advised to follow the operational guidance at the water refill station. The council is currently looking at installing more refill stations across leisure facilities in Lisburn & Castlereagh. ”
