BIN COLLECTION UPDATE IN ADVERSE WEATHER

The Council is currently undertaking a mop up collection service for any bins that have been missed during this current spell of bad weather.

However, due to the level of ice in areas we may not be able to empty them all on their scheduled day. Please be assured we will empty all bins that are safe to do so.

If you bin has not been emptied by 5.00pm please bring it in again and then represent for 7.00am the following morning.

The Council will be sending out extra crews every day to collect all missed bins this week. Please keep leaving your bin out until it has been emptied.

Thank you for your co-operation.

KERBIE BOX COLLECTION UPDATE IN ADVERSE WEATHER

Bryson Recycling will endeavour to get as many boxes today as possible, weather and conditions permitting.  They have had a few incidents were vehicles have got stuck in the snow so will more than likely be keeping to the main roads only.

Any boxes that are missed due to adverse weather will be  collected as normal the following week.  Overflow bags can be used with one type of material in each bag to enable sorting.  However, glass should not be placed into overflow bags.

LEISURE SERVICES AND FACILITIES

All Leisure services/facilities are back to normal but will be monitoried throughout the current cold spell.
