Mayor’s Colour Run open for entries

March 8, 2022

Mayor Martin is excited to host a Mayor’s 5K Colour Run in Dundonald this May with the Wallace Park event on Sunday 10th April at 3pm in Lisburn now sold out.

The Mayor is encouraging families and individuals to sign up now to the Dundonald Colour Run to be held on Sunday 15th May  at 3.00pm in Billy Neill MBE Country Park.  Places are limited. Entry costs are £5 per person or £20 for a family of up to six.  All money raised will be donated to the Mayor’s charities, ADD-NI and MACSNI supporting children and young people.

Speaking about both upcoming events Mayor Martin said: “I am delighted to welcome people of all abilities to our Colour Runs. Such events have proven popular in the past and allow you to try something a little different from your normal 5K.  The routes are suitable for everyone and whether you run, jog, walk or dance your way around the course, you can be sure to be doused in a rainbow of colour by the end of it.

“I would encourage you to sign up today while places are still available. It will be fun and laughter from start to finish raising funds for my chosen charities along the way!”

Your entry fee includes sunglasses. Participants should wear white or light coloured clothing to make the most of the event. All colours are made of natural powders. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
