The Mayor speaking about the fundraising event, said: “The Mayor’s Charity Golf Day is the perfect way for golfers to enjoy, network and raise money for charity while playing 18 holes. My two Mayoral Charities are continuing to break new ground and reach deeper into the heart of local communities throughout Northern Ireland and beyond in order to really make a difference to people’s lives.

“I would like to thank everyone who has supported the wide variety of fundraising events held during my term to date, and would ask for your continued support in what I sure to be a fabulous afternoon of golf.

“This Charity Golf Day is the ideal opportunity for golfers to enjoy this hidden gem of a golf course and raise money for two worthwhile charities.  I would also like to take this opportunity to thank local company Coca-Cola HBC for its significant sponsorship of the event,” concluded Councillor Tim Morrow.
