Mayor Visits Local Care Homes
April 9, 2021
The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Nicholas Trimble, recently visited local care homes to give staff and residents some Easter treats. The nursing homes are located across the council area and included Oak Tree Manor, Carryduff Nursing Home, Drumlough House, Beechill Care Home, Hollygate Lodge and Annahilt Care Home.
Speaking about the visits, the Mayor said: “The last 12 months have been an extremely testing time for everyone, but none more so than those on the front line. This Easter, I wanted to personally thank local nursing home staff for all their continued efforts in caring for some of the most vulnerable in society.”
