Mayor Martin hosts Civic Reception to mark the Royal Status of Hillsborough

Mayor Martin was privileged to host a civic reception last night to mark the Royal Status of Hillsborough. Joined by distinguished guests and members of the Hillsborough community from across the voluntary, education and business sectors.

The Mayor spoke about the history of the village and how the community has always worked together to conserve and promote its heritage. Royal status is an honour for the village the council & for many people right across Northern Ireland.

We look forward to promoting this jewel in our crown together.
