Mayor Martin hails Mark’s Invictus Games success

Mayor Martin was delighted to host local resident Mark Clougherty after he won 3 gold medals & 1 bronze medal at the Invictus Games held recently in the Netherlands.
Mayor Martin said: "Mark has overcome challenges many of us couldn’t possibly imagine to train, compete & prevail at the Invictus Games. I was honoured to meet Mark and listen to his incredible life story to date. Lisburn can be rightly be very proud of one of our own achieving an amazing medal haul at one of the world’s most competitive sporting events."
