Mayor attends Commemorative Service

The Right Worshipful the Mayor, Councillor Tim Morrow attended a service at the War Memorial in Lisburn on Saturday 4th November to open the Garden of Remembrance where crosses were planted to commemorate the sacrifice of those who served in the armed forces in conflicts since 1914.  After the service the Mayor proceeded to the Irish Linen Centre where The Royal British Legion launched the annual Poppy Appeal in Lisburn with the Mayor being the first to buy his Poppy.
