Local Business Aktivora’s Product Can Sanitise Covid-19
May 14, 2020
Lisburn based Aktivora NI Ltd. has had their ‘Super Sanitiser’ officially confirmed as being 99.9999% capable of killing and protecting people from Covid-19 through independent laboratory tests in England.
Aktivora is made solely from natural plant-based ingredients; and is a prevention against Covid-19 not a cure.
Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Alan Givan, recently visiting this business said: “It is excellent news that a local business has become the first in the UK and Ireland to have one of its products certified to kill Covid-19. While many global suppliers were only starting to look at adapting their products once the coronavirus pandemic happened, this Lisburn company already had a’ game changing’ one in production.
“I wish Aktivora NI Ltd every success as it works through multi-million pound negotiations with organisations across the world who want its product, which sold at different strengths depending on its intended use. It can be used as a hand sanitiser, for cleaning buildings, floors and surfaces or for mass sterilisation.
“This locally manufactured product could really help our frontline services, especially those working in healthcare, by providing an impenetrable barrier to coronavirus. It can sprayed on clothes, uniforms, into washing machines; there is no surface it won’t work on.”
The company is also awaiting certification for the capability of its ‘super sanitiser’ to kill a further 21 major super viruses, including SARS, Ebola, Swine Flu, Mad Cow Disease and the new African Horse Sickness.
Eco-friendly and biodegradable and non-alcohol based, Aktivora is available in a 100ml atomiser Super Sanitiser, 250ml trigger spray, a 500ml trigger spray for hands and, for the commercial market, 1 litre, 5 litre, 10 litre and 20 litre drums, and a 1,000 litre IBC container.
