Information on Holiday opening hours for Council Facilities/services

BIN COLLECTIONS

The following arrangements have been made for kerbside collections of recyclables and landfill waste over the July holiday period:

Please leave bins and boxes out from 7am on the collection day.

HOUSEHOLD RECYCLING CENTRES

Below are holiday opening times for the Council's Household Recycling Centres located at:

The Cutts, Derriaghy
Carryduff, 8 Comber Road, Carryduff
Drumlough, Dromara Road, Hillsborough

The last loads are accepted 10 minutes before the closing time.

LAGAN VALLEY LEISUREPLEX

EARLY CLOSURE ON TUESDAY 11TH JULY @ 5.30pm. CENTRE CLOSED WEDNESDAY 12TH JULY reopening Thursday 13th July 2017.

The Leisure Pool peak hours will commence on Monday 3rd July to Thursday 31st August (inclusive) – we recommend booking online in advance for Leisure Pool slide sessions. When booking online please be aware of adult to child ratios in place at the centre.

The opening hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday - Lazy River and Aqualand family session 10am to 11am, Leisure Pool slide sessions 11.00am to 7pm.

Saturday and Sunday - Lazy River and Aqualand family session 10am to 11am, Leisure Pool slide sessions 11.00am to 5.30pm.

Admissions Policy - All children under 4 years are supervised/ accompanied by a responsible person over 16 years on a one to one basis. Children aged between 4 – 7 must be supervised/accompanied by a responsible person over 16 years on a one adult to two children basis. During controlled sessions featuring Aqualand and the Lazy River (when flumes/slides) are not operating one responsible person over 16 years may accompany a maximum of 2 children under 8 years into the session.
