Have You Got Your Ticket to the People's Concert?

Anybody wishing to attend the People’s Concert, featuring Peter Corry this Saturday evening (23rd June) in Wallace Park will be able to buy tickets at the gate on the night.

This concert celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the birth of the famous humanitarian, landlord and art collector, Sir Richard Wallace will take place from 7.00pm – 9.15pm with gates opening at 6.00pm.

Playlist will include songs should suit all ages will include West End musicals, all-time Opera classics, haunting Celtic melodies and blockbusting Hollywood soundtracks.

Alderman Paul Porter, speaking about the concert said: “Sir Richard Wallace contributed significantly to the development of Lisburn; and the Council looks forward to hosting the concert headlined by Peter Corry.  Please feel free to bring a picnic along on the night and enjoy the ultimate feel –good summer evening of live music in the heart of Lisburn.”

Tickets can still be bought online from the Box Office in advance of the concert.  For those who want to buy a ticket at the gate.  The cost is £5 per ticket and patrons are asked to please bring cash to pay at the gate to speed up the process.

Joining Peter Corry on stage will be various acts including Anúna, Wallace High School Junior Choir, Belfast School of performing Arts Lisburn, local talent Zoe Jackson and Nik Parks. 

On Saturday 23rd June from 11.00am – 2.00pm the Council will also be hosting a fantastic free Family Fun Day in Wallace Park that will be fun, inclusive and educational so please bring the family along and enjoy the day as local schools, dance troupes and artists provide entertainment.

There will be no parking available in Wallace Park during the 23rd June events and there will be restricted access to the Park during set-up on Thursday evening and Friday daytime.
