Fitness Force Comes to City Centre

Force7Gyms is a new state-of-the-art boutique Pay-As-You-Go gym in the heart of Lisburn city centre. Run by Personal Trainer and Chartered Accountant, Fergus McGivern, this bright, airy gym specialises in 1:1 and small group efficient workouts so that you can get fit fast and stay fit. 

Force7Gyms offer a range of 30-minute cardio and boxing HIIT circuits to suit all abilities and open gym sessions at designated periods throughout the day focusing on its seven-station kickboxing zone, circuits and free weights.

Chair of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Economic Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart MBE, visited Force7gym to welcome them to the city centre.  He said: “It is great to see the investment by new businesses to Lisburn city centre especially such a niche business like this that will complement the varied leisure and fitness offering Lisburn has to offer. Force7Gyms is the first to offer a dedicated EMS (Electro-Muscular Stimulation) Hub within Northern Ireland; and we are delighted that it is in Lisburn. This hub will harness the power of advanced electro-stimulation technology which is an innovative approach already well-established across Europe, Asia and Australia for some years. On behalf of the council I wish Fergus every success on this new venture.”

Fergus McGivern also added that the use of low frequency electrical impulses over all the major muscle groups significantly enhances muscle activity during workouts.  EMS stimulates overs 350 muscles simultaneously and strengthens, tones and conditions in a fraction of the time.  Current research indicates that each 20-minute PT-led EMS workout can give equivalent results to approximately one hour of high intensity training! 

Force7Gyms is located in Market Square above The Yellow Door Deli and has ample shower facilities so training before or after work or during your lunch-break is possible.
