Council shows support for National ‘Live Here Love Here’ Marketing campaign
September 1, 2021
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is pleased to be part of the current national Live Here Love Here marketing campaign. A range of billboards are currently in place across the council area and throughout Northern Ireland. The campaign is aimed at tackling national environmental problems on a local scale.
Pictured at the Bachelors Walk billboard in Lisburn is the Chairman of the council’s Environmental Services, Councillor Andrew Ewing and Vice-Chair, Councillor Caleb McCready.
Backing the campaign, Chairman Councillor Andrew Ewing, said: “The council fully supports the Live Here Love Here anti-littering and dog fouling campaign and we are proud to be involved.
“PPE littering and dog fouling continue to be an ongoing problem in our council area. The key messages are clear and we hope that residents are encouraged to take action. Please use a nearby waste bin to dispose of your PPE litter and pick up after your dog. This will help keep our council area clean and safe for everyone.”
Vice-Chair, Councillor Caleb McCready added: “Live Here Love Here is about loving where you live. With your help, we can create a better environment in Lisburn & Castlereagh with less dog fouling and PPE litter. By acting responsibly and encouraging others, you will help make a big difference in our community.”
