Resident Recycling Survey launching Monday 5th July
June 23, 2021
On Monday 5th July, we are launching a recycling survey for residents to have their say about the council’s kerbside recycling services. The survey will be available to complete online and will remain open for responses until Friday 27th August 2021.
The council collects waste and recyclables from every home and the current recycling efforts of local householders helped the Council achieve a household waste recycling rate of 50.79% in 2019/20. However, new, higher targets will require every household to recycle and compost more and landfill less.
The aim of the survey is to hear householder views on the preferred way of collecting dry recyclables such as paper, card, cans, plastics and glass going forward. Your views are important to us and we would encourage all residents living in the council area to complete the survey when it becomes available. The survey will be live from 5th July via this link: www.lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk/recyclingsurvey.
For more information, tel: 02892 447300 (option 1) or email: wheeliebox@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk. All those who complete the survey will be entered into a random prize draw for the chance to win 1 of 3 Amazon Echo Dots.
