Council helps another new business open its doors in Lisburn Castlereagh
July 22, 2021
BeautCube skincare clinic, a little haven tucked away off the Saintfield Road, has recently opened for business. The specialist clinic was set up with help from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s (LCCC) Urban Investment Fund, which was delivered in partnership with the Department for Communities.
BeautCube offers facial experiences using DMK paramedical skincare products and locally based Skinician cosmeceutical products in the salon. It aims is to bring customers an affordable spa experience, where they can take time out to relax and care for their wellbeing, as well as being educated about their skincare needs.
The clinic is one of 12 new businesses to be opening in Lisburn Castlereagh with support from the council programme, and more are planned in the pipeline!
Ald Amanda Grehan, Chair of LCCC’s Development Committee, said: “I’m delighted that the council has been able to support another business start-up and give the support needed to get it off the ground.
“BeautCube is a unique addition to the Lisburn Castlereagh business community and I’d highly recommend a visit there for some relaxation and self-care. I wish it every success for the future”
Councillor Hazel Legge, Vice-Chair of LCCC’s Development Committee, added: “It’s wonderful to see another new business open in our council area. Lisburn Castlereagh has a combination of unique independent traders alongside larger retailers. We’re hoping that, with our support, many more will follow suit and decide to make Lisburn the place they locate and start their business.”
BeautCube owner, Caroline Doherty, said: “The support from LCCC’s Urban Investment Fund has been much needed and I’m thrilled to have finally opened our doors.
“My therapists take pride in offering the very best beauty services to our customers, along with the knowledge to educate and deliver personalised treatments. Some special introductory offers will be available up until the end of July, just call the salon direct on 028 9543 0370 to make an appointment.”
This project was funded through the Department for Communities’ (DfC) Covid-19 Recovery Revitilisation Programme, which was introduced to support towns and city centres in their recovery.
