Council Consultation on New draft Dog Control Orders

The Council is currently consulting on three new Dog Control Orders proposed under current legislation. The Council strives to promote responsible dog ownership, not simply through enforcement, but also through educational and awareness raising activities, partnership working with community groups and more collaborative working across the council. The powers available under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act provide a useful tool to the ongoing work of the council in seeking to address all dog related issues across the City.
