Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has collected and donated a variety of items for the British Heart Foundation through efforts of its staff. The Council is a Heart City and is engaged in a number of ongoing initiatives to support the vital work of the British Heart Foundation.
The donated items were provided to the British Heart Foundation Lisburn shop Manager, Mrs Samantha Robinson.
The Chair of the Heart City Working Group, Councillor Margaret Tolerton, said: “I’d like to express my thanks to our staff who have provided some really useful items for the British Heart Foundation Lisburn shop to raise money.
“Thanks go to Samantha who has worked with us on this project. We will continue with our fund-raising efforts as a Heart City to help raise awareness of the British Heart Foundation,” she concluded.
