*** SUSPENDED *** £500,000 hardship fund launched for sports clubs and sporting organisations

THIS FUND WAS SUSPENDED ON 17TH APRIL.

Following the announcement by Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey MLA on 13th April, a £500,000 hardship fund has been launched to help the sports sector offset the financial challenges they are facing due to the impact of Covid-19. 

Sports clubs and sporting organisations from the voluntary and community sector, which are unable to receive support from other Government Covid-19 Mitigation Funds, will now be able to apply to Sport NI for a small grant of £2,000 to help with immediate financial commitments to maintain their facilities during the Covid-19 restrictions.
